The Children's Museum of New Hampshire offers opportunities for children and families to explore art, science, and culture through dozens of activities and exhibits. Among these are the Thinkering and Steam Innovation Labs; Dino Detective; Music Matrix & Sound Watch; Naturalist's Study; Cave Explorers; and Post Office. The recently re-opened Dover Adventure Playground features a life-size flat-bottomed vintage gundalow boat; a net climber; swings and slides; a 3-story Garrison tower; a 1,200 pound, 3x8 foot climbable Alewife granite fish sculpture; a splash pad; musical instruments; and a life-sized “whale's tail” sculpture perched on the roof of the Dover Pool. Regularly scheduled special events take place throughout the year, including the Dover Mini Maker Faire; Teddy Bear Clinic + Picnic; Toddlerfest; 5K Road Race + Kid-Venture Course; and Earth Day Celebration; among others. A museum shop is on the premises.

The Currier Museum of Art, located in Manchester, NH, features European and American paintings, decorative arts, photographs and sculpture. The permanent collection includes works by Picasso, Matisse, Monet, O'Keeffe, Calder, John Singer Sargent, Frank Lloyd Wright, Andrew Wyeth, and Sol LeWitt. Special exhibitions provide opportunities to present work by contemporary and/or local artists, as well as take in-depth looks at certain objects or areas of the Museum's collection. Public programs include tours, live classical music and “Family Days” which include activities for all ages. The Museum also offers tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Zimmerman House, now listed on the Register of Historic Places (reservations required). There is a museum store on the premises.

The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, located in Concord, NH, is dedicated to the two astronauts who came from the granite state—Christa McAuliffe and Alan Shepard. The museum offers a range of permanent and changing exhibits that focus on astronomy, aviation, earth and space science, including full-sized replicas of Mercury 7 and Mercury-Redstone rockets, a 1956 XF8U-3 Crusader jet, and items from Star Trek movies, a planetarium, and an observatory. There is a museum shop and café on the premises.

This pass provides free general admission tickets for up to FOUR people. This will allow access to the Discovery Center exhibit galleries and Science Playground. Please Note: The Science Playground is open seasonally from May-October. Weather permitting, the playground is open to the public from 11-3:30pm.
Planetarium tickets are an add-on purchase. Tickets may be purchased at the front desk or on the museum's website (current rate is $7).

Founded in 1823, the New Hampshire Historical Society collects objects, books, manuscripts, and images that document New Hampshire's history. Exhibitions at their headquarters in Concord, NH contain a range of objects, photographs, and documents that illuminate the state's history, art, and culture. These include Native American artifacts; items from the Revolutionary period through the Civil War and World War II; the 1818 eagle that once sat atop the state capitol; portraits of notable New Hampshire residents such as Franklin Pierce and Daniel Webster; early furniture, silver, and other decorative arts; 19th-century White Mountain landscape paintings; and memorabilia from New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primaries. Temporary exhibitions focus on various aspects of the society's holdings. Research may be conducted in the on-site library.

New Hampshire has 93 state park properties that provide a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages and abilities. The park system includes beaches, campgrounds, historic sites, waysides, natural areas, a multitude of trails, and much more to explore. A list of these, along with trail maps which may be downloaded as pdf files, may be found on their website. The pass provides access to most locations in the system, though there are a few exceptions.

Each day pass is valid for the date listed on the pass and grants admission to all day-use parks for two adults and up to four dependents. It is not valid at Hampton Beach State Park - South Beach, Wallis Sands State Park, Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, or the Flume Gorge and it is not valid for use at the metered parking on the seacoast or for camping. Most of the parks are only open from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend, except for Monadnock State Park, which is open year-round. Please check individual state parks for closures, rules, and regulations.

Seacoast Science Center

Located within Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH, the Seacoast Science Center has been providing educational experiences on behalf of New Hampshire State Parks since 1992. The center includes hands-on science exhibits (undersea exploration to marine debris), live animal exhibits which feature creatures that live in the rapidly changing Gulf of Maine ecosystem; and many special events, like “Music-by-the-Sea” concerts and “Sippin' for Seals” (dancing and drinks to support the Marine Mammal rescue Program).

This pass admits two adults and up to four children at for half-price admission. Library Member Pass Holders are required to pay NH State Parks use fee of $4 per adult and $2 per child from April - September. Pick up passes in Children's Room.
