The Great American Read continues this fall. This is a TV series on PBS that is seeking Americans’ favorite book, based on the list of 100 books revealed in May. Join us in the Trustees Room to watch and discuss  episodes of the show on Wednesdays from September 19 to October 17 from 6:30-8pm. Get up to speed by going to pbs.org/greatamericanread and watching the first episode which aired in May and then episode #2 which will air on Sept. 11 at 8pm. Tonight's episode highlights books from the list that feature heroic characters and explores why we love them.
