Calling all teen writers!  The DPL is hosting five afternoons of creative writing activities, each week focusing on a different pillar of great storytelling. Come play writing games, work on your projects, and join other storytellers as we improve our skills together. Topics will include how to weave a plot, create mold-breaking worlds and characters, explore all of the ways to bring conflict into your stories, and more. All genres and mediums of writing welcome!

This week we will be focusing on characters. How do you turn a cardboard cut out into an engaging character? We will explore bringing your heroes and villains to life through personality quizzes and work as a group to spice them all up with quirks, goals, and contradictions.

For ages 13 - 18. Held in the Lecture Hall from 3 - 5 PM. You can send any questions or comments to Aidan at a.sonia-bolduc@dover.nh.gov.
