Come celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day with food, crafts, activities, a raffle, and of course, books! This international initiative was started in Connecticut in 2011 by two childrens librarians to "raise community awareness about the importance of the library in the life of a child, and promote library services and programs for children and families." From 9:00-11:00 am we will be serving pancakes in the storytime room. All day, there will be crafts  to make and take. Any child who gets his/her first library card will be entered in a special raffle (must be 5 years old).
