Michael Cameron Ward, author of "A Colored Man in Exeter" will speak at the library on Monday, May 6 at 6:30PM. This book shares the story of the Ward family who left Brooklyn NY in 1957 to get away from gang violence by moving to tiny Lee, NH.  This is a history of a family, but also a history of a generation and racial prejudice in our country's past. Copies of his book will be available for sale at the event.
