Learn to Use Your Sewing Machine

Saturday, January 132:00—4:00 PMLecture HallDover Public Library61 Locust St., McConnell Center, Dover, NH, 03820

Did you get a sewing machine over the holidays and you're in over your head?  This is the class for you.

Bring your sewing machine, any supplies that came with it (such as bobbins/thread/sewing machine feet/plugs etc.) and the manual along with you and we'll get you started with the basics of your machine.

We will provide scrap fabric and thread.

Depending on what kind of machine you've got we will cover: threading your machine, winding a bobbin, and have a little tutorial on sewing machine feet and what some of them are for.

This event is designed around modern main stream machines (Singer, Janome, Juki, Brother, Bernina etc.), if you've got a cool vintage one and want to bring it in, we'll do our best to figure it out, but can't guarantee we'll be able to figure it out.

Registration for this event has now closed.
