The Global Poetry Society explores poetry from around the world. Run by our volunteer Shane Morin, his goal is to help our community learn about great poets beyond the European and American classics we all read in high school. Meetings will feature works from Asia, Africa, South America, Native peoples, and more.

Between sessions, registrants will be emailed a reading list of freely accessible poems that will introduce the works to be discussed at the next meeting.  Meetings will be every other Friday afternoon from 4 PM to 5 PM, in the Lecture Hall.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration recommended. For more information or if you would like to attend virtually, call the library at 603-516-6050 or email Aidan at a.sonia-bolduc@dover.nh.gov.

Capacity: 11 of 12 spaces available.
