The central tenet for attracting a diverse assemblage of birds to your yard is diversification.  Diversify your feeder types, diversify your food, and diversify your cover and you will diversify your birds. This presentation by Steve Hale of Open World Explorers reviews ways to diversify your backyard birdscape, including addition of native trees, shrubs, grasses, and climbers/vines.

Steve Hale is an avid hiker, birder, and experienced naturalist. He holds university degrees in marine biology, evolutionary biology, and ecology. He has lived in New Hampshire over 20 years and has explored most of the state.  He loves to share his experience and knowledge with others.

This presentation has been generously funded by the Friends of the Dover Public Library.
