Monday, August 86:30—7:30 PMLecture HallDover Public Library73 Locust St., Dover, NH, 03820

Memoirs of people and places that existed in Portsmouth in the seventies and eighties before big money moved in. The book is about people who arrived in Portsmouth with only a dream. The town with it's affordable properties and caring people who owned those properties made it possible. It also brought me a career at a time when I had no idea where I was going...and someone asked me, "you wanna be the cook?". I said yes. James is promoting his recently published book "At the End of Ceres Street: a Chef's Salute to Portsmouth, New Hamphshire.
