After almost 60 years, Dover resident Jack Mettee returned to Kenya East Africa with his partner Laurie to visit where Jack taught secondary school for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer. Jack's library presentation recounts the couple's two-week visit this last March. They experienced cosmopolitan Nairobi, the Swahili Coast, Masai Mara Game Park, and visits with former students. One of these visits included a visit to the secondary school where Jack taught, Igembe Secondary School. This trip evolved from a long-standing friendship with David Mugaa, one of Jack's former students at Igembe. He and his family helped Jack and Laurie plan and execute their travels, making it a true Kenyan experience.
